Foster Carer
FOSTER CARERS NEEDED IN YOUR AREA!
Are you able to provide full time care for a child or children in your home. We are looking for committed and caring people who can provide out of home care for children whom have a range of needs and who may require emergency, respite, short term or long term care.
We are looking for carers who can provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment, be able to work as part of a team and assist in the ongoing development of a child in out of home care. Foster carers receive ongoing training and 24 hour support and receive a tax free reimbursement towards the cost of caring for a child.
It takes all kinds to care and to foster brighter futures so if you have ever considered fostering, now is the time to join the team at UnitingCare Gippsland and help us form a partnership in caring.
All kinds of people can be foster carers: single people, retired people, working people, people with and without children, gay and lesbian people and people from all cultural, language and religious backgrounds. Our foster care team can give information and advice to help you decide if foster caring is for you. We can also help you choose the type of care and ages of children that will fit your lifestyle and family.
If you are interested in becoming a carer, please contact the Home Based Care Team from UnitingCare Gippsland on 51529600 for further enquiries and information.
